Goebel Hummel "Carnival" and "The Kindergartner" Figurines
Item Details
A pair of Hummel figurines. The figurine ‘Carnival Fashnacht’ is a boy dressed in a purple clown costume looking up in awe. The piece is incised with a ‘1957’ copyright date, is stamped ‘Goebel W. Germany’, is number ‘328’, and is initialed by the painter. Also included is ‘The Kindergarner Schulmädchen’, number ‘467’. This young girl dressed in a red dress with yellow polka dots is carrying a book bag on her back. She is marked to the underside ‘Goebel W. Germany’. Each has their original name label affixed o the base.
