1945 Rookwood Vase

Item Details

A small Rookwood pottery green vase, dated 1945. This vase features a light green glaze, a bulbous oval shape, and no delineated designs. To the underside, the vase is stamped with the Rookwood flame logo, marked shape number 6183-F, and dated “XLV”. An incised X to the verso denotes this piece as a factory second.

Condition

- uneven underglaze with small black specks.
- dark lines under the top glaze.
- crack to rim.
- marked as a second with an incised X.
