1916 Rookwood Pottery Lamp Base

Item Details

A 1917 Rookwood Pottery lamp base in brown. This lamp base with a peacock feather pattern features a columnar body with a flared base, the Rookwood flame hallmark, the date XVI (1916), and illegible pattern marks. An incised X to the bottom denotes this as a factory second.

Condition

- several areas with no underglaze.
- crack appears to have been repaired.
- rough areas to the base.
- uneven glazing.
- marked as a second with an incised X.
