General Tire and Ameri*Steel Advertising Tire Ashtrays
Item Details
A pair of vintage advertising tire ashtrays. Each ashtray has a rubber tire with glass round insert with an advertisement. This pair includes ‘General Tire Dual 90’ and ‘Ameri*Line USA.’ Both tires have ‘General’ embossed lettering. One of the tires also has ‘Ameri*Steel’ lettering embedded into the tire. The advertising ashtrays were distributed to the public by the company when tires were purchased during the 1960s and 1970s.
Condition
- the decals are in excellent condition with bold and vivid colors. The rubber tires are also in very good condition. The glass inserts have no cracks or chips.
