1963 New York World's Fair "Kiss Me" Bobbleheads

Item Details

A set of 1963 New York World’s Fair ‘Kiss Me’ bobbleheads. The figures are made of paper mache. One is a girl, the other a boy; both are ‘puckering up’ to kiss each other. The girl is dressed in a blue skirt, her shirt is white with orange stripes with a blue handkerchief in her breast pocket. She has an orange and blue ribbon on the back of her hair. The boy has blue pants with a blazer that is white with orange stripes. ‘New York World’s Fair’ is printed in white lettering on the blue base of each bobblehead. Both bobbleheads have red hair with blond spots. The heads are attached to the bodies by way of a metal spring which allows the heads to ‘bob’. Both bases have a ‘Made in Japan’ paper label and the year ‘1963’ on the bottom. When these two are kissing, there is a small magnet on the inside of the head, in the mouth area which keeps these two touching.
