1960s Tropical "Kiss Me" Bobbleheads
Item Details
A set of tropical ‘Kiss Me’’ 1960s bobbleheads. The figures are made of paper mache. One is a girl, the other a boy; both are ‘puckering up’ to kiss each other. There is a small magnet on the inside of the head, in the mouth area which keeps these two touching. The girl is dressed in a hula dress, red flower in her hair and she’s holding onto her lei around her neck. The boy is bear chested wearing blue shorts that have white speckles. He’s playing a ukelele; a pineapple is sitting beside him. ‘Japan’ mark is faint on the bottom of the girl’s bobblehead; the boy’s bobblehead has no maker. The heads are attached to the bodies by way of a metal spring which allows the heads to ‘bob’.
Condition
- boy has small flaking around the base of the head and a small hairline along the head’s bottom edge
