Item Details
A semi-antique Central Asian accent rug/wall hanging. This wool rug is handwoven and embroidered in a palette of cobalt, crimson, ivory, and black. It features a medallion design incorporating hooked diamonds, stylized oak leaves, and abstract motifs over a crimson and ivory field. Framing the field is a meandering, fretted geometric main border over ivory. Selvedges are double overcast, the rug finishing with striped kilim skirts and tan warp fringe made of wool and camel hair. Unlabeled.
