A hand hooked vintage area rug. The rug features a folk art style design of a basket of fruit set within a frame with additional leaves and flowers in the background. The different types of fruit include strawberries, pears, peaches, melons, plums, and grapes. The designs are worked in shades of pink, red, purple, orange, coral, gold, brown tan, deep red, pine green, sage green, and gray. There is a toothed design border on three sides of the rug. The upper edge has a different border with a wavy band and a barber pole stripe in different shades of green, gray, and brown.
