A vintage Essanay copper and brass soda and acid fire extinguisher. The brass label features safety warnings and is marked at the bottom ‘Pyrene Manufacturing Company Newark, New Jersey’. At the base the label reads ‘Underwriters’ Laboratories Inspected 2 1/2 Gallon Hand Fire Extinguisher Classification A-1 No. A-564487’. The red hose is stamped with a Pyrene 3 logo.
