Mid-Century "Precedent" Modular Chair by Edward Wormley for Drexel
Item Details
A Mid Century Modern slipper chair designed by Edward Wormley for the Drexel Precedent line in 1947. The chairs are made of hardwood with a blonde stain. The chairs feature webbed bottoms and removable cushions upholstered in a brown boucle fabric. Dark brown cushion covers are also included and are made from a prototype fabric made by DuPont that was never sold commercially. The chair can be used separately or grouped with others to create a loveseat or sofa. Please see items 17CLT124-048 and 17CLT-049 for companion pieces.
