An etching Fontana di Trevi in the style of Piranesi. This etched image depicts the Trevi Fountain in Rome, Italy, one of the most famous fountains in the world. The fountain was completed in 1762 and has appeared in several films. This architectural rendering shows the fountain as it looked not long after construction. The print is titled and attributed to Piranesi, although independent verification has not been made. Matted in ivory and presented behind glass. Framed in a wood frame painted black with gold tone accents. There is some damage to the gold tone detailing on the frame. To the verso, wired to hang.
