A collection of antique kitchen and housewares. Offered in this selection is a Star Pottery bowl with a hinged wire handle to allow for hearth cooking. It features an unglazed exterior with high gloss black glazing to the interior and is marked to the base, “Star / Fire Clay / Acid Proof”. A glazed utensil crock features a hand-painted floral motif. It is marked “05” to the base. A Griswold pan is stamped to the base, “No. 273 / Griswold / Cripsy Corn Stick Pan / Erie, PA. U.S.A. / 930A”. An unmarked mixing bowl having muted blue stripes over a reeded circumference, an unmarked lidded casserole with an all-over embossed design, a stair-step basket, three wooden spoons, a meat tenderizer, a set of measuring cups, and a wire rug beater complete this lot.
Condition
- for age. Overall marks and wear; crazing to the mixing bowl and lidded casserole; hairline cracks to the casserole; rust to the cornbread pan.

- overall. The Star bowl measures 11" W x 5.5" H x 10" D excluding the handle. The Griswold cornbread pan measures 6" w x 13" L. The lidded casserole measures 9" in diameter x 5.5" H. The antique mixing bowl measures 10.5" in diameter x 5.5" H. The rug beater measures 10" W x 31.5" L. The stair step basket measures 9.25" W x 17" H x 18" D.
