Wedgwood Blue Jasperware Bud Vase

Item Details

A vintage Wedgwood blue jasperware bud vase. The vase is composed of deep blue jasper stoneware in a matte finish. The sides of vase have applied white bas relief figural medallions and a decorative bas relief to the neck. The vase is marked to the base by the maker. Jasperware is a unique type of pottery developed in the late 18th century by Wedgwood Pottery founder, Josiah Wedgwood.
