Vintage Wooden Dresser Cabinet with Decorative Wall Panel

Item Details

A vintage tall dresser cabinet. The mahogany dresser dates to the first half of the twentieth century, and features a curved backboard along the top, with a carved center detail featuring ribbons and roses. There are two dovetailed drawers below, both fitted with brass locks and round wood knobs, above and below a center cabinet. The top drawer has divided compartments inside. The cabinet doors are embellished with applied carved wreath details, and the interior of the cabinet houses four more dovetailed drawers. There are carved rope details along the sides and bottom, and along the edge of the top bracket. The dresser rests on round, tapered and fluted legs with casters. No maker’s marks. Included with the dresser is a matching rectangular mahogany wall panel, which is embellished with an applied carved wreath to the center. The unmarked panel is fitted with sawtooth hangers on the back. This item matches item 17DEN108-104.
