A pair of limited edition Donald Polland and Fredric Remington reproduction pewter sculptures. This pair features one limited edition sculpture by Donald Polland entitled Geronimo Apache Di-yin for War that depicts the prominent leader and medicine man of the Bedonkohe tribe during the nineteenth century standing amongst his tribe with arms raised. The second limited edition sculpture in the pair is entitled Cheyenne inspired by Frederic Remington’s original sculpture modeled in 1901 and cast in 1907 entitled The Cheyenne, which now resides in the collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, New York. Each piece is crafted from pewter, mounted on a wooden base, and each contains edition numbers inscribed on the sculpture and makers marks and copyrights on the verso of their respective bases.
