Nelle Ferrara Original Mixed Media Painting

An original mixed media painting and collage on wove paper by reputed contemporary Cincinnati, Ohio-based artist Nelle Ferrara. The piece was created using oil paint, graphite, and silver foil. Abstracted fields of bright color are accented with various textured lines and scribbles that cross the composition. The piece is signed by hand in black ink to the lower left. It is matted in pale gray with black lining and is presented behind glass in a black composite frame with a hanging wire. A sticker from the artist’s Pendleton Center studio is attached to the verso.
Condition
- painting is in good condition. Frame is in poor condition with significant scratching and chipping across. The frame has totally separated to the upper left corner.
