Hand-Knotted Arhaus Peshawar-Style Area Rug
Item Details
A hand-knotted Peshawar-style area rug by Arhaus. This wool rug, attributed to Pakistani weavers, is rendered in a tea-washed palette of camel, cocoa, pale celadon, and wheat. It features an onion-layer design beginning with a large-scale concentric ogival medallion filled with florals, the medallion resting on a camel-colored field with deep spandrels in pale celadon, the latter areas also filled with floral detail. The field is framed by compound borders, including a primary border grounded in cocoa, featuring a geometric-cartouche pattern. Selvedges are overcast, the rug finishing with short tan wool warp fringe. It is labeled on the reverse.
