A collection of oil paintings on wood panel of elderly figures and their hobbies, by German artist Rudolf Ritter Von Reichl (1881-1915). These four paintings, all of which depict the subjects by the warm light of a window, feature renderings of white-haired figures reading or knitting, including a man in a green hat carefully reading a newspaper. These pieces are all signed ‘Reichl’ to their lower corners and are presented without frames or hanging hardware.

-fair; some wear to edges and throughout.
