Four Chinese Wucai Style Hand Painted Porcelain Plates

A set of four Chinese wucai or ‘five color’ style hand painted porcelain plates. This selection features vibrant designs of dragons, serpents, birds and flora in bright tones of blue, red, green and yellow on the front and backs of the white plates. Marked by hand in blue with Guangxu reign marks. The plates appear to date from the period (1875-1908) or the Republic period (1912-1949). Four wooden plate stands are also included.
