A pair of 19th-century lithographs on paper by listed French draughtsman and lithographer Félix Benoist (1818 – 1896), each hand-colored by a later unknown hand. Titled A. Rennes and Quimperle , this pair of prints each depicts figures in the French countryside. Each print is titled to the lower middle and features the name of the original artist and engraver to the lower right, both in typeset. The prints are mounted under glass in black matting and gold tone wood frames with hanging wire and a framer’s stamp present to verso.
Condition
- very minor marks to frame. Age discoloration across prints.
