An oil painting of a European street scene signed Harold. This painting depicts a central avenue flanked by historic architecture and a city sky line in the distance under a stormy sky. A group of figures rides bikes toward the city center. The wet pavement reflects the architecture and splashes are visible behind the bikers. Storm clouds are visible overhead. Painted in a loose, impasto style. Signed to the lower left. Framed in carved dark stained wood with a linen liner. Frame is scratched and nicked in several places. To the verso, wired to hang.
