Antique St. Clement French Majolica Tobacco Humidor

Item Details

An antique Majolica St. Clement French tobacco jar. The early 1900s figural two-piece tobacco jar features a realistic hunting dog named Medor. He wears a buckled collar with a name plate. The head lifts off to reveal storage for tobacco. The uncommon but well known jar is unsigned but numbered ‘465 1’ on the underside.

- chip to the interior jar mouth; crazing throughout; sticker residue; production flaws inside jar.
