Iron Art Cast Iron Cat From Hubley Mold

A vintage Iron Art Company cast iron cat doorstop. Shortly after the end of World War II, the Hubley Manufacturing Company of Lancaster, PA closed their operations and sold the mold for this fireside cat to the IRON ART COMPANY of Chicago, Illinois. It is believed Iron Art produced this model from the late 1940s through the early 1950s. This black cat features green eyes and a red mouth and is stamped to the interior, “Iron Art” and “LB 7”.
