Item Details
An art pottery collection. This collection includes an art pottery plate, bell and a lidded mustard bowl. The glazed pottery plate features a hand painted cottage design on both the plate well and rim. It is marked ‘Cathy Galch, Millgirl Pottery, 1993.’ There is also a Dutch girl style pottery bell, depicted holding a bouquet of flowers and wearing a handkerchief. When lifted from a surface, her pottery legs are visible, posing as a ringer. This pottery includes an incised hallmark of a figural symbol within a square. There is also a small pottery lidded mustard dish, painted ‘Moutarde’ on the dish in the woman’s hands. The base is unmarked.
