An oil painting on board by listed American artist Joseph Aaron (California; born 1959), titled Summer Surf, Heisler Park. This plein air painting depicts a clear blue tide rolling into a sandy shore lined with rocky cliffs overtaken by lush bushes and palm trees. To the lower right corner of the composition is an artist signature. The painting is presented in a a contemporary carved wood Craftsman-style plein air frame with a bright gold leaf finish. A hanging wire and a handwritten title are found on the verso.
