Blue and White Ceramic Wares
Item Details
A pair of blue on white ceramic wares. Included is an antqiue oval Buffalo Pottery platter in the Blue Willow pattern featuring a geometric designs and scrolling vines along the rim and a central Asian motif of birds, trees, buildings and figures. Marked to the back ‘Semi-Vitreous Buffalo Pottery 1909’. Also included is a diminutive teacup or espresso cup with blue transfer designs of floral swags and the Yale University crest with an inscription in Latin. Marked ‘Greenwood Pottery Boston’ to the bottom.
