Set of Eight Louis XVI Style Upholstered Dining Chairs

A set of Louis XVI style walnut upholstered dining chairs. The set consists of two arm chairs and six sides. Each chair features an upholstered balloon back and seat with an exposed walnut frame. The wood appears to have been treated to a gold rub with pale blue accenting the details. The upholstery fabric is a blue silk-like fabric with a ochre colored threads running throughout. The chairs stand on four tapered legs with flower details ending with spade feet. The two arm chairs share all these features plus open curved arms with with scrolled ends.
