A wall hanging coat rack with oil painted detail. This coat rack features a rectangular shape with hooks along its valenced bottom and scrolling motifs to the top and a black painted finish with painted gold tone detail. The coat rack also features two wood panels to the center with still life scenes rendered in oil paint. Both scenes depict arrangements of vases and fruit in yellow, orange, green, blue, purple, brown, and black.
Condition
Gold tone accents/trim on a black frame with metal coat hangers on the bottom; 2 still life images [left and right sides] painted in oil on the wood surface in good condition – left hand image has spot on the lower left where the paint has lifted and the wood can be seen, right hand image has a spot on the lower right where the paint has lifted and the wood can be seen; some nicks and scratches around the frame itself.
