A Chinese screen. This black lacquered wooden room divider depicts illustrations of women in traditional clothing and rural scenes. The double-hinged panels feature decorative borders and gilt accents. The illustrations are on one side of the four panels. The piece is marked to the rear with a seal that reads ‘Made in Tianjin China’.
