An acrylic painting on paper titled Sierra Blanca, created in 1989. Portrayed with vibrant colors and large expressionistic brushstrokes, this work features a mountainous landscape with shrubbery, a dirt path, and an orange parking cone visible in the foreground. Handwriting to the verso specifies the location, reading ‘Mescalero Apache’s Black Mtn. & 3 Rivers Petroglyphic site, 2/19/89’ to the lower right verso and ‘Sierra Blanca (Not Black Mtn)’ to the upper left verso. The painting is not matted and remains unframed.

- minor wear along paper edges; small holes in ocrners from previous hanging.
