French Style Needlepoint Area Rug

A Chinese needlepoint rug, in the French Aubusson style, having a mid-nineteenth century floral pattern, in brown, rose and cream. Circa 1990. It has bound seams to the underside and is unlabeled.

Condition

- having a hole at one end.
- stray threads to the verso are indicative of the handcrafting process.
