Antique Crotch Mahogany Four-Drawer Chest with Wall Mirror

Item Details

An antique crotch mahogany four-drawer chest with a wall mirror. The veneered chest features a rectangular top with a serpentine front edge above two aligned, dovetailed drawers over two long drawers. The figured fronts are fitted with brass handles and the lower two drawers are flanked by scrolled stiles. The chest is further embellished with gadrooned moldings and it rises on outset, ring-turned front feet. Also included is a wall mirror with a shell- and acanthus-carved pediment.
