A mixed media collage on canvas Untitled by Chicago based artist Ronald Ahlström (1922 – 2012) . The work depicts an abstracted composition with paint and found materials including fabric, rope, and cardboard. Using the cardboard as a base the artist adhered the rope and fabric together to create a restrained effect. Signed and titled in ink to the verso. Presented without a frame and without glass.
Condition
- some wear around the edges of the canvas; work could benefit from a cleaning; large nick to the top right corner of the canvas; hanging wire is only attached to one side of the work.
