A mixed media collage on board titled Construction by Chicago based artist Ronald Ahlström (1922 – 2012) . The work depicts an abstracted composition using painted found objects like rope, wood, and fabric. Using these materials and the unique shadowbox built-in frame the work creates deep recessed areas with textured peeks. To the verso, a gallery label is adhered with the title and signature. The work is presented in a built in wooden frame without glass.
