Item Details
A mixed media collage on canvas of an abstracted composition by Chicago based artist Ronald Ahlström (1922 – 2012) . The work depicts an abstracted shape with paint and found materials including fabric, rope, and wool. Using a grid of wooden rods the work is layered to create an array of textures. Signed in paint to the top right corner and in marker to the verso. Presented in a wooden frame attached to the canvas without glass.
Condition
- work could benefit from a cleaning; some wear on face of canvas; large chip to the top left of wooden frame.
