Vintage Chippendale Style Mahogany Dresser On Ogee Feet

Item Details

A vintage Chippendale style mahogany chest of drawers. This chest has two half-width drawers over three full-width drawers, all with matching bat wing bail pulls. All drawers are constructed with dovetail joinery. The angled corners are accented with fluted detailing and the piece is raised on ogee bracket feet. A label to the top drawer reads in part, “Genuine Mahogany / Genuine Mahogany grows only in West Indies, Tropical America, and West Coast, Africa / This label is issued under penalty contract number 194 / Mahongany Association, Inc.” A protective glass top is included.
