Antique Baroque Style Open Armchairs, Circa Early 20th Century

Item Details

A pair of antique Baroque style open armchairs, circa early 20th century. The wooden, walnut-stained frames have elaborately carved crests, scrolled arms, and cabriole front legs with carved feet. Shaped stretchers to either side provide support. They are upholstered in needlepoint tapestries with hammered nail head trim.

- minor wear and scratches to the exposed frames; significant wear and damage to the needlepoint backrest and seat covers; missing nail head trim.
