An oil painting on canvas of a circus clown. This Impressionist painting depicts the aforementioned entertainer mid-stride, clutching at a pole while slyly staring off-enter with a grin. He wears a tan trench coat, top hat and striped pants. To the distance is a loose rendering of what appears to be another performer and a circus tent. The unsigned painting is presented in a natural wooden frame featuring a cream inner border and hanging wire affixed to the verso.

- dent to the upper left; painting would benefit from cleaning; light wear to frame finish; frame could benefit from dusting; painted residue to canvas verso.
