A 1838 map of Iowa and Wisconsin by T.G. Bradford and engraved by G.W. Boynton. This map is a color engraving on paper and depicts the states in pink, green, blue, and yellow against an off-white ground. The map is marked in-plate to the lower left with the date and publisher information, and to the lower right ‘Engraved by G. W. Boynton.’ The map features a hand written date to the upper right corner ‘1842,’ and is housed in a plastic sheet on which is written ‘1838 Iowa Map by T.G. Bradford.’
