A Japanese black lacquer tea caddy box. Featured here is a vintage, three-part, wooden tea box. This tea canister includes a bottom container portion, a wooden internal lid, and a decorative external lid. The external lid is painted with a gold flower and accented with a disc of abalone. There are no maker’s marks present.
