An original mid-20th century abstracted watercolor painting on paper, signed illegibly by an artist to the lower right. The painting is made up of aggressive strokes of black and ochre paint applied across a sheet of ivory paper. Some incisions are visible across the paper, apparently added to create extra texture and dimension. The painting is mounted to olive green backing with a watercolor-painted black border and is presented behind glass in a thin wooden frame with black painted finish and a hanging wire attached to the verso.

Condition

- paper is quite yellowed. Spotty discoloration across backing. Light scratching across frame.
