Chinoiserie Vanity Decor Collection

A collection of Chinoiserie-style vanity decor. This collection includes a porcelain humidor jar by G.B. & Sons Ltd. of London, England, marked ‘2914 8 J’ to the verso. This jar has a design of blue and black glazes with gilt details, depicting a traditional Chinese garden with pagodas. Also included are two wooden boxes finished in black lacquer; each has a lid and gilt trim around its shoulders. The fourth item is a wooden tray finished in black, silver-tone, and mustard yellow, with a floral design to its field. It is marked ‘PT No. 67976, CK, Alcohol Proof, Made in Japan’ to the verso.

Condition

• tray has scratches to corners
