An offset lithograph on paper after an original painting by very well-listed French cityscene painter Maurice (Valadon) Utrillo (1883 – 1955), titled Montmartre. The piece depicts the famed French neighborhood illustrated in short, bright strokes of paint. Figures mill through the streets, which are lined with brightly-colored shops and flowering trees. The print is signed and titled in-plate to the lower corners. It is matted in white and presented behind glass in a wooden frame with teal painted finish and a hanging wire.
Condition
- print is slightly yellowed with age. Scratching and chipping across frame.
