A hand-knotted and carved Chindia Indian floral area rug. The rug features a floral and vine pattern in deep green and yellow on a cream field. The field is enclosed by a compound border that features a floral pattern in a complementary palette. It has been carved along the design lines for a slight dimensional effect. It has overcast edges and a short wool fringe and is marked ‘All Pure New Wool Pile, Genuine Chindia, Handwoven in India’.
