A pair of antique hand colored engravings on paper of fashion plates from the French women’s fashion magazine La Mode Illustrée, published from 1875-1886. These prints depict women wearing lavish Victorian dresses, in ovular compositions with printer information in type beneath the images. Each piece is presented under a mat and glass, in a gold tone wood frame, wired to hang.

Condition

- toning and foxing to prints and mats; mat burn to prints; scuffs and scratches to frames; minor tears and stains to paper backings.

- measures one frame; visible image measures 9.0" W x 12.0" H.
