An antique Continental black lacquered trinket box with a Dutch scene to the lid, c. 1900. Papier-mâché construction with lacquered covering with a chromolithograph print applied to the lid and varnished. Having scalloped trim and bracket feet.

Condition

- printed scene displays significant loss and deterioration; craquelure present throughout and especially to the lid.
