An oil painting Angel Hotel by English artist Simon Siredzuk. This is a painting of the Angel Hotel on the Thames River in Oxfordshire. The scene depicts the Thames river and a bridge in the foreground with the Angel Hotel in the mid-ground to the left and a cathedral in the mid-ground to the right. In the background is a softly rendered sky. Craquelure in several places due to age. Signed in paint to the lower left. Framed in an ornately carved wood frame. To the verso, titled and dated (1942) in pencil. Wired to hang.
Condition
- Craquelure due to age. Frame has accretion and wear due to age.
