Chinese Famille Rose Porcelain Teapot and Porcelain Soap Dish
Item Details
An early 20th-century Chinese famille rose porcelain teapot. Hand painted polychrome enamel decoration of pink roses, birds and butterflies, and other floral designs. The foot remains unglazed and there are no marks present to the underside. A hand painted porcelain soap dish with calligraphic text to one side and a pierced lid.
Condition
- chip to the underside of the lid; missing the original handle.
