An oil painting on canvas of a romantic rural landscape by listed Italian artist Jacopo della Selva (b. 1922). This work features a still pond surrounded by a sloping countryside terrain, populated with large boulders, trees, foliage, and a village woman walking down the hill. The painting is signed to the lower left. It is presented in an ornate gray gesso frame with an undulating outer edge, floral molding, and a canvas liner. A small descriptive tag with handwritten information is attached to the verso.
