A copy of issue #1 from the first The Fantastic Four series published by Marvel Comics in November 1961. This landmark issue features the debut of Mr. Fantastic (Reed Richards), the Thing (Benjamin Grimm), The Human Torch (Johnny Storm), and Invisible Girl (Susan Storm-Richards) and the formation of their team, the Fantastic Four, the creation of legendary comic personalities Stan Lee and Jack Kirby. This is generally regarded as the comic that initiated the Marvel Age which ushered in a degree of realism to comic books. The classic script was written by Stan Lee, with pencils by Jack Kirby, and inks by George Klein. Ungraded.
